My Inspiration for this project comes from my father's experience post-surgery. When I was young my father learned he suffered from a kidney disease that meant in a few years his kidneys would stop working completely. A few years later he had to get surgery to allow him to do at-home dialysis but he had so many things to remember post-surgery that we constantly had to call the doctors and get our questions answered. At this time, my dad felt helpless because he was unable to recover quick and needed constant attention from everyone. This experience reminded me of how much time we could have saved if an app like this was made. This also would have helped my father feel less helpless and more in control of his recovery.

I built this project on Canva and a challenge I faced was understanding layouts of traditional applications. I am not used to building apps and was having difficulty understanding how to create one. I googled many healthcare-related apps to understand how it is formatted and the features they include to ensure user satisfaction. I implemented these into my app including the AI Chat bot, Educational Videos, etc..
