Inspiration
With half a million people facing homelessness in the United States, we want to create a way for them to gain access to resources readily available to them.
What it does
Given a zip code the app gathers nearby resources and displays them in a list for the user.
How we built it
Using Google Maps API, flutter, and dart we created an app that took a zip code and returned all available resources.
Challenges we ran into
As this was our first hackathon it proved difficult to manage our time and implement everything we wanted. Additionally learning to use the API was its own hurdle for our team.
