Inspiration

There are a lot of homeless people around our city, and the reason that they are homeless is mostly because they lost their job or have poor education.

What it does

Our website gathers information such as job opportunities, free or cheap educations, and donation companies so the homeless people can easily access those sites using a community computer.

How we built it

We split the project into three parts: the main page, a page for job resources, and a page for adult education opportunities. We used the html, css, and js languages we learned from a programmer and the functions we learned online (mostly w3school.com) and created this clean and easy to understand website to help the homeless people.

Challenges we ran into

We received different educations on coding and are on different skill levels, and we had never done a real project using code languages, but we managed to split the work fairly and get help from the mentors to make the project function.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

This is the first project we have ever done, and we are all really happy and surprised about the result, because we are either beginners or had no coding experience.

What we learned

We learned a lot of functions of the html, css, and js languages such as flexbox, sliders, and render.

What's next for Homeless Care

We want to make it public so people can actually visit our site. We also want to perfect it more so it can gather real time information online and have more functions that can help solve homelessness.
