Inspiration for the Project Idea came from the company Axxess itself where they are working on technologies that is revolutionizing Home health care. Most of the geriatric patients, across varied age groups require temporary to permanent home health assistance, which we wish to accomplish through the app.
What it does -- Patients that are looking for home health care assistance can find their nearest home health care nurse provider through the app.
How we built it - Built it in the Android Studio with the Kotlin, Hibernate ORM and Ktor framework for connecting to the backend server with RESTFul API's
Challenges we ran into were fixing the bugs, could not get to work on the security and setting up the extra layer of authentication and also could not deploy and test the app.
Accomplishments that we're proud of completing the workflow of the app
What we learned -- Learned how to come up with and implement ideas within a specified timeframe
What's next for HomeHealthNurse -- Scaling and publishing the app to the Google Play store and the Apple ioS store
