Inspiration
We were inspired by the many people who grow fruits and vegetables in their backyards and community gardens in our community. We want to be able to connect them with others who would like access to locally grown produce but cannot grow their own.
What it does
Connects farmers and "growers" with people who desire the freshest produce possible
How I built it
React-native and passion. Adobe Illustrator to design the UX/UI.
Challenges I ran into
Mangoes were not ripe

Being able to complete as much of the application as we did with the time that we had.
What I learned
Expanded knowledge of javascript and React-Native
What's next for Homegrown
Completion, polishing, implementation of many more features, and ultimate release to the app and play stores.
