Inspiration
After long days of helping our parents match the paint colors in our house and trying to figure out when repairs last occurred, we decided there must be an easier way! We wanted to create a product that stores information like paint colors and other important information/history of properties that gets lost over the years, so that it can easily be referenced again.
What it does
HomeFax compiles information and the history of properties that are currently on the market and presents them to the public. If a property is not on the market, it can be viewed by the home owners/primary residents. HomeFax aims to provide you with the information you need while considering a home to rent/buy. As a buyer or renter, our extensive review process allows for you to receive the most updated information about the property. As the property owner or manager, we compile all of the information about your home in one place, such as paint colors, appliances and date of past repairs. This is so that you can stay informed about your home if you need to repair, renovate or update anything.
How we built it
We used HTML/CSS to build the website, and Figma to design the iOS application.
Challenges we ran into
Building the website was our most difficult challenge because neither of us have a lot of experience with html/css/javascript.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are most proud of the website because it was a new experience for both us.
What we learned
We learned new languages and gained better teamwork skills!
