Inspiration
Our school was looking to infuse our IT program with some of our school events. A vote for homecoming court fit that idea.
What it does
This app allows students to vote for homecoming grade level princesses, princes, king, and queen.
How we built it
We used AppInventor as well as Google Fusion tables to track homecoming court candidates, voters, and voting.
Challenges we ran into
We had a lot of fusion table calling that we tried to keep separate
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Our school actually used the app in homecoming voting.
What we learned
We learning about coding and database organization.
What's next for Homecoming Vote
Add features to count total votes for each candidate. Be able to change candidates using app directly.
