Inspiration
As students who have co-op next term AND a 1-year lease agreement, we need to make new living arrangements AND find someone to sublet our room(s) to. This whole process is so troublesome that it inspired us to make HomeAid. Additionally, a friend who just transferred to a new University is super stressed out and frustrated about finding new living arrangements, which was an additional source of motivation.
What it does
HomeAid simplifies the rental process and allows you to get your ideal home quickly, easily, and hassle-free. Through an easy-to-use interface, HomeAid matches you with potential places to rent based on your personal criteria and with a simple left or right swipe, you can indicate if you’re interested or not. Or if you’re interested in subletting your room, you can just make your listing, then sit back and relax as you get matched with potential sublettees.
