Most households can't prove what they own when it matters. After a theft, fire or flood, insurers ask for purchase dates, prices and proof, and that evidence is scattered: PDF invoices, phone photos of paper receipts, warranty cards and serial-number labels.
Home Inventory & Claim Kit is a UGOS Skill with three modes:
- inventory: builds a home inventory in which every value (price, date, serial number, warranty end) cites its source file on the NAS;
- lookup: "Is my dishwasher still under warranty?" gets a two-line answer with proof, and never says "covered" without both a purchase date and a warranty period;
- claim: after an incident, assembles a claim pack: the affected items with proof, the items missing proof, and, for a theft, a camera-event timeline for the window the user gives.
It orchestrates five NAS experts (file, photo, document, knowledge, security-monitor). It is read-only by default. Saving notes, tags and albums happens only after the user confirms. It never deletes or moves files, and nothing leaves the NAS.
AI disclosure
Claude (Anthropic), an AI model, wrote the Skill text, the formats and the test plan, and ran the kit's static checker. The entrant (a human) enters and submits it. At runtime the Skill uses only the AI capabilities of UGREEN AI NAS through its registered experts. Details: references/disclosure.md in the ZIP.
