Inspiration

I am really fascinated with the exponential growing technologies in this modern world, and so always wanted to know how things work through the designer and executer perspective. So that's why I thought to try my hands on this IOT based designer named Cisco Packet Tracer to understand this.

What it does

It basically designs all our day to day used machines that are used in our home in such a way that it connects all of them to an online server through which we can handle when these machines would actually work from even a remote distance.

How we built it

We used Cisco Packet tracer which is a product of Cisco.

Challenges we ran into

As this is a new application and not many tutorials are available on the internet to learn how to use it, It was really hard to understand which things works in which way in the software.

What we learned

I am a new guy in the industry of tech, and learning all the complications of designing the IOT network in my own designed home and solving them was a great experience for me. I learnt step by step how the data will move from one place to another and on which particular instruction, it will show the desired output by going through series of servers and cloud.

What's next for Home-Automation

I would like to implement this technology in further big areas or buildings so as to understand more complex parts of it.
