Inspiration
Living in an underserviced area, government facilities such as Home Affairs are not readily available or are located at a considerable distance from the local population. As a complete beginner or a first-year computer science student, taking an initiative in building an app which renders home affairs services brings a beam of pride and a sense of belonging in the tech community.
What it does
Offers primitive but essential services such as birth registration, death registration and identity document registration.
How we built it
As a beginner, node.js, html and CSS are the primary languages I used to build the app.
Challenges we ran into
I encountered many challenges, such as integrating the facial recognition system and stripe payment. Time restriction.
What's next
Continue working on the unfinished parts, as it will aid me to broaden my horizon.
