Inspiration

Our NAS already holds years of scanned bills, contracts, insurance policies and receipts. The files are safe — but nobody re-reads them. So we miss the cancellation window of an auto-renewing contract, overlook a provider that quietly raised its price, and cannot find the warranty when the washing machine breaks.

What it does

Home Admin Radar turns that archive into a short, ranked report:

• Act now / Act soon — cancel-by dates (renewal date minus notice period) and bills due within your horizon.
• Money leaks — price increases detected by reconciling each contract with its later bills, with the yearly impact.
• Coverage — which warranties and insurance policies are valid, expiring or expired, and for which item.
• Missing statements — months with no bill for a recurring provider, so you download them before the portal deletes them.
• Since last radar — each run is compared with the previous radar saved on the NAS: what is new, what changed, what is no longer listed.

Every item cites the source file and sentence, and the report opens with the yearly money at stake. Nothing is estimated, and the Skill itself calls no external service: all processing is delegated to the NAS's own experts.

How we built it

A parent orchestration Skill (SKILL.md, Uliya Skill Development Standard) delegates to four registered experts: file-agent for the inventory, photo-agent for OCR of photographed paper documents, document-agent for schema-based extraction (contract, invoice, receipt), reconciliation, Q&A and report writing, and knowledge-agent to save the report. Writes go through platform approval, and all five delegation states are handled at each step. Built with the official Uliya Skill Kit and AI coding assistants; it passes the kit's static checker with zero diagnostics.

Challenges

Keeping the parent Skill honest: it only does date arithmetic and ranking on data the experts actually returned, and reports partial results instead of guessing.

What's next

Validate extraction quality on mixed English/French scans on a real AI NAS, then schedule a monthly re-run so the radar warns you before each deadline.
