Inspiration, Being part of the medical Advisory Board of Apoqlar, I am helping them developping the VSI app for the Microsoft HL2. I do believe this wonderfull device has more possibilities. So I decided to take this personal initiative.
What it does, we can connect the HL2 to different medical devices through APIs. The medic wearing the HL2 could gather all the info from the periferics to make a diagnosis. The periferics could be temperature scanner,blood pressure measurer, fysiologic serum control device, echo, Cbct,etc.
using holoportation it could be used in remote zones. The medic can assist rapidly in diferent zones without losing transport time.
Challenges I ran into: gathering the diferent specialist to produce this device. IT,medical,production specialists,etc..
What's next for Hololens medtec centre: making it real!
