Know the basic details of your credit/debit card by just pointing this effect on to your card (Here the HoloCard) and see its basic details like balance, transactions etc. augmented around it.

Inspiration

The inspiration for creating this effect came from my daily life schedule and my interest in the Augmented reality as a technology and how it is changing the way we perceive and presents things.

What it does

This effect presents an idea of getting the flexibility to get the information about a credit/debit card(here the HoloCard) without going to any app and with ease.

How I built it

I built it using the "Fixed Target Tracker" object in Spark AR and photoshop.

Challenges I ran into

The major challenge I ran into was with "Fixed Target Tracker" that it was not able to detect many of the design I use to make and thus had to change multiple designs to reach the final design of HoloCard so the tracker can work properly.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

Developing AR effects that can be showcased as MVP in very minimal time.

What I learned

Learnt a new way to develop AR with very fewer time consumptions and very minimal coding than the other ways been using till now

What's next for HoloCard

The next for HoloCard is to provide new features as:

  1. Customizability by the user
  2. Give the ability to target multiple target images and not just one
  3. Connecting with API to get more real-time data
