Inspiration: Ambitious Hokies struggle to find for internships based on their skills and have no idea how they can build their missing skills.
What it does: Takes in the input of the user's skills, classes, job related interests, and plans after graduation and then provides opportunities and skills they need to build with resources.
How I built it: Vibe Coded by Google Gemini, Google Slideshow, Programmed on VS Code
Challenges we ran into: Hard time connecting to Databricks
Accomplishments that we're proud of: We managed to add a section where students can add internship opportunities they found to spread the love to other Hokies.
What I learned: I learned how to properly Vibe Code and build something impressive in less than an hour.
What's next for HokiePath: I plan on improving the UI, add an AI Chatbot, and links to courses from reputable sources that build skills.
