Inspiration
Lack of finding study rooms around campus other than Newman.
What it does
Find rooms on campus and shows general information of each room.
How we built it
We created an agent using DataBricks and then added the data CSV files in the agent’s query. We then used Python and Streamlit to create a local and network URL and added the agent into the webpage.
Challenges we ran into
Getting real data, editing and modifying the Databrick's agent, and implementing the data into the agent
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Adding the AI agent into the Streamlit website.
What we learned
We learn some basic SQL, Agent modification, and using Streamlit (open-source Python framework).
What's next for Hokie Room Finder
Adding real time data.
