Inspiration

Three major concerns of hitamites inspired us to think of this project.

There are many affinity clubs in Hitam like hitband club, let's nacho club, cultural club, literature club, fitness club, Gate club, Short film club, Yoga club etc., out of which students are aware of only few clubs. If they want to join in any of these clubs then they don't know whom to contact and also they are unaware of the timetable followed by those clubs due to which they are not able to actively participate even if they are members of those clubs.
Students are not getting any information about the availability of resources like shuttle bats, basketballs, cricket balls, volleyballs etc., and the students are keeping on moving in search of those items. Due to this ,few students are losing interest to participate. This scenario is usually observed in freshers of the college.
Many students loose their valuables and they face difficulty in finding those items.
Students actually don't know which bus goes to which route except their bus and also students do not get any official information if there is any delay in the buses or changes in the routes.

Hitam Scout is an application that provides technical solution for the above listed concerns.

Students can avail information regarding affinity clubs and their respective coordinator details. If they want to join in any particular club they can directly contact the coordinator of that club.
Students can get the details of sports equipment that are available and they can check it here in the app itself without even consulting the incharge to know whether the items are already being used by someone else or not.
Anyone who finds an item abandoned can immediately update in the app so that the person who lost it can find through the app without much difficulty.
All the information regarding bus routes, bus incharges, transport incharge, bus drivers and their coordinator details will be available in the app. Delays will also be updated in the application.
