History Portal was inspired by the idea that history should feel alive. Students should not only read about the past, they should step inside it, explore it, and experience it.

What it does

History Portal helps teachers create immersive AI-powered history lessons with 360° scenes, storytelling, puzzles, assignments, and reflection questions.

How we built it

We built it as a lesson creation platform where teachers choose a topic, time period, location, learning goal, and style. The system then generates a structured lesson experience.

Challenges we ran into

The biggest challenge was balancing creativity with historical accuracy. We wanted lessons to feel exciting, but still trustworthy for teachers and students.

We are proud that History Portal makes it easier for teachers to create immersive lessons without needing design, coding, or media production skills.

What we learned

We learned that AI works best in education when it supports the teacher. Teachers stay in control, while AI helps make lessons faster, richer, and more engaging.

What's next for History Portal

Next, we want to turn History Portal into a fully interactive learning world. Students will be able to play historical games, solve missions, explore 360° environments, make choices, unlock clues, and complete challenges that make history feel like an adventure children love.
