Inspiration

We noticed a lack of engaging resources for exploring Calgary's landmarks.

What it does

Our platform navigates to famous waypoints, providing information and fostering discussions via comments and likes/dislikes

How we built it

Leveraging the MERN stack for familiarity, we incorporated Bootstrap for styling and MongoDB Cloud for collaboration

Challenges we ran into

Navigating map APIs' cost constraints led us to external linking via Google Maps API URLs. While exploring open-source options like MapLibre, we encountered limited functionality.

Proudly developed a full-stack website with JWT authentication
