22-HireSight

Inspiration

The tedious process of applying for jobs, long waiting periods and repetitiveness of the task.

What it does

HireSight provides a more efficient way in assisting both recruiters and job seekers in the hiring process. This is achieved through allowing job seekers to upload their resume to multiple jobs at a time and for recruiters, the AI generated result of compatibility.

How we built it

This was completed through v0.dev, typescript, and next.js to complete frontend. Python was used for AI integration and Firebase to complete backend.

Challenges we ran into

Unfortunately there were numerous challenges in the process. However one that stood out was the version of codes used were different. Implementing some functionalities

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We never thought it was possible be where we are now 24 hours later so that is an achievement. Code wise the many ideas were geared to almost full functionality in under a few hours.

What we learned

That it is okay to start small before expanding functionalities on a bigger scale

What's next for 22-HireSight

Awards, recognition but most importantly after gaining valuable experience we would like to take this idea to a next level and add additional functionality to make it marketable.
