Context

In our fast-paced recruitment landscape, we often struggle with inefficient candidate screening. We talked with Ammaar, a design lead at ElevenLabs who told us that a position filled up with over a thousand applicants within a week, and nearly 40% were unqualified.

To solve this, we automated the screening interview process using the ElevenLabs Conversational API, ensuring a consistent, engaging, and bias-free initial screening for every candidate.

On the interviewer side, we developed a powerful analytics platform to provide real-time insights into candidate responses, communication skills, and cultural fit.

Key Features

Interviewer Control: Companies have full control over the screening interview. We allow interviewers to adjust the following.

  • Questions asked during screening
  • Time allotted
  • Skills and metrics to evaluate for candidate fitness

Candidate Flexibility: We developed the screening as a call to make the process candidate friendly. Candidates can request a one-time screening call at anytime to go over their experiences and questions required by the company.

Analytics Platform

What use is a screening interview if companies cannot gather accurate, reliable data on candidates? Hirelabz supports a robust analytics platform for its initial launch.

  • Candidate Overview: Real-time status listing (pending, interviewing, interviewed) of each application. Accessible links to candidate portfolio, resumes, and websites.
  • Interview Breakdown: Summary and rating of each interview, including detailed breakdowns of industry skills with reasoning for each. Skills can be tailored by the company for different job postings.
