Inspiration

Our inspiration comes from the freedom and revolutionary potential of DeFi, which we deeply believe in. Additionally, the tremendous growth potential of the TON blockchain motivated us to explore and innovate within this ecosystem.

What We Learned

Through this journey, we gained a deeper understanding of how DeFi works, expanding our knowledge of various decentralized finance concepts. This experience has significantly broadened our perspective.

How We Built Our Project

We bring a strong background in scaling startups within our local market. After several months of research across different blockchains and projects, we decided to build on TON. We began by participating in various hackathons, and it was during the last one that Hipo was born.

Challenges We Faced

One of the main challenges was growing in a new community and establishing connections within the TON ecosystem. As the first non-Russian team to build on TON, we initially lacked relationships with the core team. However, through perseverance, we have now established a strong position in the community.

What's next for Hipo

We recently launched Hipo Gang—the first DeFi tap-to-earn game—with the goal of introducing the Hipo governance token. We believe it has the potential to become the next big thing in token launches and airdrops.
