Streamlining hospital operations to improve patient care and staff efficiency inspired the creation of this system.
What it does
The HIMS simplifies hospital workflows, including patient management (OPD & IPD), pharmacy operations, lab tests, doctor schedules, and administrative tasks.
How I built it
The system is developed using Laravel for backend, jQuery for dynamic frontend interactions, and MySQL for managing data securely and efficiently.
Challenges I ran into
Integrating complex workflows like multi-role access, lab test pricing logic, and IPD/OPD data tracking were significant challenges.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
Successfully implementing a seamless user experience for doctors, patients, and staff while maintaining robust system security and scalability.
What I learned
Deepened understanding of Laravel's ecosystem, database optimization with MySQL, and creating user-friendly interfaces with jQuery.
