Inspiration

We were inspired by the rich culture of the Himalayas and wanted to create a way for people to explore it from anywhere in the world.

What it does

The Himalayan Cultural Archive lets users take virtual tours, learn about mindfulness practices, and discover sustainable living tips, all focused on the Himalayas.

How we built it

We used React.js to build the site, with Google Maps integration for location features and YouTube playlists for mindfulness content.

Challenges we ran into

We faced challenges in making the platform easy to use while including lots of content. We also had to work on making everything look good on different devices.
