Can machine learning (ML) tools assist scientists to get Nobel Prizes? To answer this question, we investigate the capabilities of ML tools to proof the Higgs boson hypothesis. To do so, we employed powerful machine learning tools such as LightGBM, Random Forest (RF), SVM to identify the presence of Higgs Boson in the dataset which contains primitive and derived values from the famous ATLAS experiment conducted at CERN on July 4, 2012, and eventually led to Nobel prize. This project is a classification task that improves the significance of the discovery of the Higgs particle of the experiment and the classifier accuracy is 85%.
