Inspiration
As kids, we envisioned every street light and telephone booth as obstacles and ourselves as the ninjas, skillfully jumping over them.
What it does
A scrolling game where you tap the screen to jump over obstacles.
How we built it
The game itself - Unity. The mockups and wireframes - Figma. The logo assets - Ibis Paint X.
Challenges we ran into
A short time frame, bugs in Unity, and challenges with finding assets.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
The game itself is functional. We can play the game and it runs well while looking aesthetically pleasing.
What we learned
One of our group members was new to Unity, and with programming with a Unity expert, has learned the ropes! Another group member was new to Figma and was able to practice and apply learned skills toward a project with a focused scope.
What's next for Highway Ninja
More innovative obstacles and scenery changes. AR implementation and leaderboards for geographic locations. More game-y elements and features that make it fun.
