I worked on front end web dev, building the site from scratch with bootstrap, javascript, and php. I set up our site on a localhost with XAMPP and Apache, and tinkered with back end development, with javascript and posting to MySQL.

I worked on back end and helped integration with front end. I did limited hard app coding and was more involved with overall design, presentation materials, running data science and researching number correlations based on scientific publications. Organizing the group was tough because none of us had much front end experience, so I took the forefront of assigning tasks to group members. I didn't sleep because I drank too much caffeine.
I also got the group interested in taking the rented Oculus Rift out for a spin, and surprisingly we didn't crash it after installing it on my laptop. It was a good time and helped us to refocus on our lives and realize that the hackathon was a great learning experience and that the app was more practical than we thought at first. After losing a founding team member to disagreements, I led brainstorming to put a new spin on the work we had already done.

I worked on Back-end and wrote SQL queries. Helped with idea formulation and gathering sufficient data.Encouraged my team when we were about to scrap are project thinking it has no usability. Had a good time working with the team.
