Inspiration
We were inspired by classic hide-and-seek games and the eerie atmosphere of Halloween. We wanted to create a suspenseful, multiplayer experience where players must outwit a non-human opponent — adding tension and immersion through a dark graveyard setting and a relentless zombie.
What it does
Graveyard Hunt is a multiplayer hide-and-seek game set in a haunted graveyard. Players hide among tombstones and crypts while a zombie roams the environment, searching for them. The last player to remain undetected wins the round.
How we built it
We used Meta Horizon Worlds' Desktop Editor and API 2.0, leveraging local scripting to manage camera behavior and player experience. The zombie Seeker is driven using typescript's NPC monster script modified from the tutorial. The environment features Halloween-themed assets and spatial design to support strategic hiding and movement.
Challenges we ran into
a lot to learn from the start of course, first never used type script before, then I'm not familiar with multiplayer games before which is totally a challenge for me, also meta horizon seems a new engine so couldn't get a lot help from google search and only read the tutorial.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
proud we've tackled a lot problem and challenges we had when making the game and learnt a lot.
