Inspiration
When taking part in a Hackathon, thinking of an idea can take a lot of time sometimes and can be a little stressful. Our team also struggled when we were thinking of an idea. So we thought of creating something which would help people with this and make it easier for them to get to the coding fast!
What it does
HIdea is a web app, which randomly generates an amazing hackathon idea for you. It can give you some really creative and fun ideas!
How I built it
We built it by creating 2 separate lists using some creative thinking and web, and then we randomly generate both of them to create a unique idea. Our frontend was built using html, css, and the animations were built using anime.js.
Challenges I ran into
Our team had thought of a different idea in the start, we tried creating that but it seemed impossible to create in just 24 hours, we spent a lot of time on this and we had to change our idea at a later point in the hackathon. Also, we all live in different timezones so managing with that was also difficult
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
Despite having less time, we were able to create and finish our project successfully and we were able to manage our timezone problems too.
What I learned
We learnt new programming concepts and libraries like React and anime.js. We also learnt how to collaborate together with our team.
What's next for HIdea
A category for choosing the programming languages and what the idea should be related to can be added and also a better generation system can be implemented to generate even more brilliant ideas.
