Hidden Water

Inspiration

I rediscovered my childhood notebooks filled with imaginary sea creatures and wanted to bring that forgotten world back to life.

What it does

Hidden Water turns my childhood doodles into a living underwater documentary using AI animation.

How we built it

I took pictures of old drawings, evolved them with Midjourney, animated them with AI, and stitched the story together in Final Cut Pro.

Challenges we ran into

Maintaining the charm of the original sketches while achieving consistent, realistic animation was the hardest part.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Transformed simple childhood doodles into a cohesive, cinematic ocean world.

What we learned

AI can revive forgotten memories and doodles turn them into emotionally resonant stories.
