Inspiration

Making use of scrap wood and metal after a big ID project. #sustainable

What it does

It is a desk shelf. It stores small items, keeping clutter in a confined space.

How we built it

Painfully, in the ID shop. Screws, glue, wood, metal tube, and a lot of time.

Challenges we ran into

Using scrap we didn’t have a lot of the same piece, so we had to be careful and think of creative ways to use them. Also, the back shop (with most of the machines that we needed) closed at 3 so we needed to work ahead and improvise.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

It didn’t fall apart! It also looks nice!

How to use a router. Working within limits.
