Inspiration
When we see how many people in the world have little to no water for survival, we feel inspired to help by promoting a sense of empathy in the public to inspire them to donate to organizations that can help relieve this crisis for many people around the world.
What it does
It is a webpage that educates people about water shortages around the world. There is a big button on the top of the screen to provide easy access to donations.
How we built it
We used visual studio code to design and build the website, coming up with ways to help grab the attention of whoever is reading the website.
Challenges we ran into
Most of us don't know CSS, Javascript, or HTML. We had to learn how to use different applications like Visual Studio Code in order to build our website.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of how simple and beautiful the website looks. It looks like a legitimate website that people want to watch due to how visually appealing it is.
What we learned
We learned about the importance of certain programming languages for certain web design projects. For instance, CSS is a front-end language used for the general design of a website, like fonts, colors, and layout. It helps inspire us to take programming a step further and learn how to complete more complex projects.
