Inspired by The Bail Project, a 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization, we look to stop mass incarceration starting from a key source: bail.
What it does
It crowd funds bail for people who share their stories on the app.
How I built it
App made in Android Studio with backend powered by Firebase.
Challenges I ran into
First time making a mobile application.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
For the most part, the app looks clean and has some functionality.
What I learned
Probably should work with a team.
What's next for HeyBailMe
Implement a better way of user and payment authentication. There needs a way for users to get follow-up notifications about the cases they support.
