The Problem we are solving: Volunteers in Rural Areas do not have enough time in unfamiliar towns to really get the most out their visits. If someone discovers something, like deodorant or canned chicken, that information is actually quite important.

Therefore a mobile app to give automatic recommendations to people when they are near a location of interest, or tell people avoid dangerous areas would greatly improve the lives of several people.

During the Hackathon we managed to get a website and Android app running. Both applications can allow at this stage a user to tag a location, add comments related to the location and view previous tagged locations.

Future improvements include the possibility to take/upload photo of points of interest. Option to limit location tags to only those of friends (Credibility); Audible Alert within range of Tags
