Inspiration
We build stuff and want our work to extend into meaningful causes that are timely and important. Bees are dying worldwide, and we want to raise awareness and advocate for bee preservation.
Our NFT project, HexPals, will extend into the HexBees game, where players who own a HexPal NFT and join the Hoove DAO can play HexBees to acquire AR, which they can use within the DAO to hire services for their start-ups and projects.
What it does
Sign up, create a HexPal, clean up some parks, collect items and save bees, make honey, and compete against others!

Challenges we ran into
Game design was challenging due to time constraints and group work management . It was also an opportunity and exercise for Hoove DAO to identify members with high design skill level competency.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
- Create some unique code for the item drops and usage
- The overall build and the concept around bee preservation
- DAO group work proof of concept
- Quick design and database work

What's next for HexBees and HexPals
