Inspiration
We were inspired by the lack of computer scientists that are women. In one of my classes, I am the only female. It has inspired me to teach a younger audience of females that this is a career path they shouldn't be afraid of.
What it does
Our website guides young teens through a journey of seeing female computer science role models and then teaching them some simple coding and showing them they can be just as awesome!

C++, Javascript, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap
Challenges we ran into
It was difficult to get our ideas flowing and to turn it into a tangible project.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We were able to make our website look "interactive"
What we learned
A lot! We ran into a lot of issues along the way where we had to improvise or try out a new solution in order to resolve it.
What's next for Herstory In Progress
We hope to expand on this website to create more C++ lessons for young girls.
