Wanted to create something ai/tech-related that small businesses can leverage to grow.

What it does

Hermes.ai simplifies the process and time neededfor b2b businesses to find connections, find problems, solve problems all built in one while leveraging perplexity ai's databases and research software.

How we built it

We forked a repository from github that helps you create web-applications. The main fork is bolt.new an AI-powered tool that allows users to build full-stack web and mobile applications directly in the browser, using natural language prompts.

Challenges we ran into

A lot of troubleshooting in the intial stages in order to get the result we envisioned. It took a lot of prompting, but also understanding how to bridge the connection of front-end to back-end and work it together to optimize not only the functions of the service, but also User Interface experience. The main challenges related with time constraints that caused the software to stop researching and also utilizing perplexity's api key.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of the results that our chatbot gives and how after thorough prompting we were able to get what we envisioned.

What we learned

Learned how to work front end and back-end together into one file code and essentially create something not only visually appealing, but functional to today.
