Inspiration
In continuation of anti poaching technology at CoderDojo StPaul2, in the use of DAS based systems for PID, the WiW or Watcher In The Woods(™) , is a way to population statistics, herds as clustering and migration detection. Can this event calculus be extended to anomaly detection? We discover the yes, in this project.
What it does
The WiW uses a AWS resident software to detect anomalies and sound early bird warning systems, using DAS and Amazon Flex based triggers.
How I built it
Event triggers are based on IoT and AWS SDK in python, with a resident WiW on AWS for event calculus based RPA system and actions with Lambdas. The Lambdas include a Lambda for Herd prediction and a previously written early bird warning system.
Challenges I ran into
Optimizing WiW similar to Alexa on AWS without a virtual instance.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
Addition of a particle simulation for cluster dynamics, using https://canvas.umn.edu/eportfolios/4253/Home/AIVR
What I learned
Application to a real world scenario of the WiW system.
What's next for Herd prediction as cluster dynamics.
AIXR, XR simulations of herds and prediction in an anomaly.
