What it does

HerbMade is an AI-powered platform for traditional and herbal medicine, offering personalized recommendations, an interactive herb database, a symptom-checker, and wellness plans. It aims to demystify traditional medicine while emphasizing professional consultation and ethical sourcing.

How we built it

HerbMade was built by compiling and digitizing vast traditional medicinal knowledge. Its AI engine uses NLP to extract and cross-reference information, and machine learning for personalized recommendations. Bolt.new facilitated seamless integration of data and AI models with the user-friendly frontend, ensuring scalability and data validation.

Challenges we ran into

Challenges included managing the volume and diversity of traditional knowledge, ensuring accuracy and safety of recommendations, developing AI models for nuanced textual descriptions, and designing an intuitive UI. Optimizing Bolt.new for complex queries and navigating legal/ethical considerations were also significant hurdles.
