WhisperHer — A Gentle Companion for Women to Reconnect with Their Inner Rhythm
🌸 Inspiration
We wanted to create an intimate and empowering space where women can gently reconnect with their bodies and emotions. From the first period to menopause, every phase holds a story — yet so often, these stories are silenced or ignored.
WhisperHer was born from this quiet need:
- To listen inward.
- To track with intention.
- To whisper kindly to oneself.
We believe understanding your rhythm is the first step to understanding yourself.
💫 What It Does
WhisperHer is a privacy-focused Web App designed to support women across every life stage — from menstruation to pregnancy to menopause.
Key features include:
✔ Intuitive cycle and mood tracking with calm, visual reflections
✔ Private journal space — listen to music and record your emotions daily
✔ Offline-first design — use core features anytime, anywhere
✔ Optional account for advanced features like generating personalized reports
✔ Data privacy guaranteed — your information stays with you unless you choose otherwise
It’s your gentle guide — always there, never intrusive — empowering women to understand and care for themselves.
🛠 How We Built It
We built WhisperHer as a responsive Web App using:
- Bolt for the modern, mobile-first UI framework
- Supabase to securely manage user data with role-based access control
- LocalStorage for offline, anonymous-first experience
- Future-ready: Designed for smooth expansion to native apps via Expo for iOS/Android deployment
Our technical approach ensures women can privately explore their health, whether online or offline.
