Inspiration
Saw possible issues during internship with LLMs being used in areas without internet connection.

Improve local LLM usage across networks without access to the internet
How we built it
Combination of manual and AI generated code.
Challenges we ran into
Initially we tried to use bluetooth connection but ran into some issues. We instead decided to utilize a "local" network setup using Tailscale.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Getting the connections between the computers and getting the overall project to work.
What we learned
Networking and system design skills.
What's next for Hephaestus
Not sure yet, possibly continuing to implement future additions and open sourcing.
