Hena Guardian — AI Life Agent

Inspiration

Most AI assistants today only answer questions like chatbots. I wanted to build something more personal, intelligent, and practical — an AI that could actually help users manage daily life, remember habits, organize tasks, and improve digital safety.

The idea behind Hena Guardian was to create an assistant that feels like a real AI companion instead of just another text generator.

I was inspired by the concept of futuristic AI guardians that can protect, organize, and assist users in everyday life while adapting to their behavior over time.


What it does

Hena Guardian is an AI-powered life assistant designed to help users stay productive, organized, and protected.

The project includes:

  • 🧠 Memory system that remembers conversations and habits
  • 🔔 Smart reminders and productivity assistance
  • 🔍 File Guardian that scans suspicious files and folders
  • 📋 Daily planning and focus assistance
  • 💬 Natural AI conversations
  • ⚡ Multi-model AI support using Gemini and Groq
  • 🛡️ Adaptive assistant behavior personalized to the user

Unlike traditional AI chatbots, Hena Guardian acts more like a proactive AI life agent capable of assisting with workflows and daily routines.


How we built it

Hena Guardian was built using:

The interface was designed with a futuristic cyberpunk-inspired UI to create a modern and immersive experience.

The AI workflow combines:

  • memory handling,
  • reminder parsing,
  • habit tracking,
  • conversational reasoning,
  • and assistant-style task management.

The browser-based file scanner analyzes suspicious filenames and risky extensions locally without uploading personal files, helping improve privacy and security.


Challenges we ran into

One of the biggest challenges was designing the project as a real AI agent instead of a simple chatbot.

We had to carefully structure:

  • memory systems,
  • AI context management,
  • reminder extraction,
  • and adaptive assistant behavior.

Another challenge was balancing a visually rich futuristic UI with performance and responsiveness.

Building a browser-based file scanning experience while preserving user privacy was also technically challenging.
