I played a key role in the conceptualization, design, and development of the HEN – Help Emergency Navigator application. I identified the core safety challenges faced during emergencies and translated them into practical technical solutions. I designed the system architecture and implemented major features such as voice-based SOS activation, shake detection, one-touch emergency alerts, real-time GPS location tracking, and navigation to nearby emergency services.
I was responsible for Android application development, including UI design, feature integration, permission handling, and testing. I also worked on SMS and emergency call automation, contact management logic, and security features like PIN-protected exit. Additionally, I contributed to documentation, problem analysis, SDG alignment, and pitch preparation. Overall, my contribution focused on building a reliable, user-friendly, and impactful emergency assistance solution using modern mobile technologies.
