Inspiration: Making sure we are addressing the most important needs of low income members of the community.
What it does: It makes it easy for legal providers and grantors to assess the needs of the community by making it easy for community partners and clients to provide the needs assessment information.
How I built it: By app designers so it can be used on multiple devices.
Challenges I ran into: Making it short enough that people will be willing to participate but still provide the necessary information.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of: The teamwork in coming up with the idea.
What I learned: It is important to be open to other peoples ideas.
What's next for HelpusHelpyou
If other people like the idea we hope it is developed further. We think needs assessment is very important with our limited resources because we need to assist with the most pressing needs in the community. Each legal services provider does their own needs assessment development and distribution and this can be inefficient.
