For those who try using helpinghands.pythonanywhere.com and notice that the site breaks when you try to sponsor somebody, it's because we are unable to text numbers other than our own :( Twilio prevents us from texting anyone but ourself unless we upgrade our plan. If you'd like a visual demonstration of the texts, the YouTube video shows it :)
