What's next for Helping Hand
Helping Hand began with an idea to help the most vulnerable workers in the United States. It is reported that majority of Farm workers face harsh conditions that have resulted in injuries and sometimes death. It’s an issue not only to the farm workers but as a humanitarian issue as a whole. This problem also touches home because 76% percent of the farm workers identify as Hispanic Latinos. Since these workers are vulnerable because of their immigration status, they are subject to intimidation or fear of deportation if they were to complain about the working conditions. Helping hand helps the workers track their working conditions anonymously without the fear of their state of being.
