Inspiration 🌟🤩

Hunger and food wastage are some of the most challenging problems faced in the modern era. We built a platform where we can tackle both issues simultaneously and thereby reduce food waste that pollutes the environment.

What it does ✔📜

It gives a platform to the restaurants to display leftover food items so that needy people can have access to it. This way food will not get wasted and people won't go hungry.

How we built it 🔧🔨

The frontend was built using HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and Javascript. For the backend, we used Flask and Node JS for creating a backend API. We used Firebase Authentication for the login and registration of restaurants

Challenges we ran into 🤯🏃‍♂️

Working with different tools and libraries was definitely a challenge as we kept encountering small errors, but we persevered and built a successful and working web app.

Accomplishments that we're proud of 🏆🥇

We accomplished working through and building this app as a team and as we all know, teamwork makes the dream work. Multiple technologies were used and we integrated all of it successfully despite facing difficulties initially.
