Inspiration
HelpHub was inspired by the need for a platform to quickly connect people with local information and resources in times of need.
What it does
Provides a central place where users can access important updates and contact local helpers if they need assistance.
How we built it
HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and a backend framework for managing the contact features.
Challenges I ran into
I could not figure out how to host the website for free! Ultimately I resorted to making a new GitHub account to host it for free.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Done and fully functional in about 5 hours!
What I learned
Creating a functional, intuitive platform within a limited time.
What's next for HelpHub
Expand on the social media aspect to make the idea more complete! That is, the website works, but there is only so much I can do to set up a business in a day.
