"After lockdown, we did not have any food cooked at our home. We would have surely cooked something if we had any ration"- Mother of Rakesh, an 8-year-old who died from starvation

We are facing the biggest crisis of our lifetimes and it has sky has crashed down on the underprivileged sector of the society who aren't able to meet the basic needs. NGOs all across the country are trying their best to reach out to help yet, they aren't able to provide to everyone mostly because of a gap in communication.

The problem is that the ones in need don't know who to approach and how?

The goal of our project is to make it possible for those in need to reach out for help at just a phone call/SMS develop and build algorithms that can automatically suggest and match them to the best resource providers (NGOs, Volunteers).

What it does

The goal of our project is to make it possible for those in need to reach out for help at just a phone call/SMS develop and build algorithms that can automatically suggest and match them to the best resource providers (NGOs, Volunteers).

How we built it

We used Google Geocoding API for getting the location of a place, Twilio API for sending and receiving messages, MongoDB for database storage, DaanMatch data for the list of NGO's and Python as a programming language.
