How we built it

Helpers is an Android app built with Android Studio, Java, SQLite and Twilio

Challenges we ran into

Running the database code was challenging and notifications sent by Twilio were new for us.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We manage to create our first Android app that uses a databse and could send a text message to a certain phone number.

What we learned

We learnt a lot. Just yesterday, we didn't know anything about SQLite, Android Studio and Twilio. We never collaborated with each other and we never did a Hackathon.

What's next for Helpers

We are aiming to continue this project by learning more about the technologies we used.
